GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE
Mr. McNulty, Mr. Fleming and Mr. Brown have all served on our Master Board for many years in the past. They all have put in a lot of effort into making our club what it is today.
Now a Governance Committee has been started by our Master Board. Mr Fleming is the chair and Mr. Brown and Mr. McNulty are also on the Committee. I believe that these gentlemen are all good intentioned and capable men, but I think that it is wrong to have past or present Master Board people governing over their own. It has a hint of impropriety.
There are plenty of owners here at Countryside that have served on all kinds of boards across this country. Put the word out and I'm sure three owners with good qualifications would serve on this newly formed Governance Board.
I have been told that this board would just be looking over the Master Board. Wouldn't it be nice to have an impartial look at our Master Board?
Now before anyone gets there ----- all bent out of shape. I'm not saying anything bad about our board. I think there is a nice assortment of people on our Master Board, but I just want to level the playing field.............................Your thoughts..........................Carl Hicks
