ANSWERS: The annual golf fee starting on October 1st, 2008 is $1,603. Everyone, (Social and Golf member) will pay $1,912 for the maintenance fee (Everything that is not connected to golf, such as the main pool, the workout room, the gates, all the maintenance for the common areas that are not in one of the different associations, the club, the office, the club waiters and staff and etc.)
Were not talking about selling your golf...we are asking to have the people that want to " LEASE" their golf annually have the right to. If someone leases and they decide to sell their house during the lease it would have to be worked out where they would get their golf back and the lessee would only pay for the amount of time he or she leased the golf. I believe the main stumbling block for the leasing of golf to the Social members is that there would be a greater amount of golfing "Starting time requests" and this would change the dynamics for the golf that is set in place now with not all the Golf members participating in the golf. The truth of the matter is that by having more people golf it would probably increase cash flow for the club and the golf.
As far as this blog and Mr Flueckiger, I commend him for starting it. I also believe that John is not beholding to anyone on the master board.I have been to many meetings with him and he seems to negotiate for fairness for all
Term Limits===The people on the survey have indicated by over 50% that they want Term Limits. Why the master board sent this to the Presidents Council is beyond me. I sit on the Presidents Council and at the first meeting in October I will ask for this subject of Term Limits to be sent back to the Master Board ASAP.
