The “B” members take it on the chin again at the Master Board Meeting on 11/29/07

According to Federal, State and County regulations, the sound barrier wall at Country Glen should have been 564 feet long with a height of 14 feet. This was approved by the Environmental Science Associates. The 564 X 14 wall was cut short to 360 feet and the 14 foot wall was placed in a 3 foot gully. Anyone driving by the Country Glen Section can see the 14 foot wall is only 1 foot higher than the 10foot wall. Mr. Brown said, “it’s 14 feet”!! It’s obvious he doesn’t know the difference between a gully and a berm. Anyone can measure it and it is 14 feet but it is in a gully and only gives Country Glen 11 feet of noise protection. Meetings with the affected Country Glen residents should have been held prior to any construction being started.
My sense is that Mr. Kudelski didn’t go into fine detail with the county as long as the golfers got their wall and we can’t control what the county does – wasn’t that his job?
Mrs. Feeney has heard enough….. next question. Talk about sound barrier walls, we have plenty in the Master Board!!
Have a nice day, I’ll bet that wall will look beautiful after it’s painted.
