Gerard T. Darcy
DARCY, Gerard T, 72, departed peacefully and surrounded by love on August 10th 2009. Beloved husband of Christine (Hickson), cherished father of Micheal and Carol (Crowley) Darcy of Naples, FL ,Kevin Darcy and Helen Sullivan of Dedham, Catherine Darcy of Roslindale, Paul and Karin Darcy of Foxboro, , Michelle Darcy (FL) and Kirsten and Stephen O'Brien of Reading, Loving brother of Mary Grady of Duxbury, and Paul and Donald Darcy of FL. Gerard is survived by 13 loving grandchildren,1 great grandchild and a very close immediate and extended family. Gerard was a retired Boston Police Officer and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had many interests and talents. He is a published poet and a gifted storyteller. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. May he rest in peace. A celebration of life and love will be held Friday, August 21st, 10:00 am at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, 97 South St, Jamacia Plain.
