Problems at front gate
----This is something that has occurred twice with me. One time we were away and our daughter had lost their water in their home in Port Charolett home and drove to Naples with our grandson, not knowing we were away. She was on our guest list, but could not get in. When she pressed the button, hidden eyes told her that they could not open the gate and she should tail gate another car in. First that was wrong and second it was 1:30 in the morning and not many cars come through at that time. She waited about forty minutes and a member came in and she was standing outside her car and explained what Hidden eyes had told her and the member waited until she got behind him and they went through together. When I spoke with my daughter the next day, she explained what took place. I called the G. M. at that time was Cliff and I told him about what had occurred and wanted to know what policy the club had in situations like this and he said they had none but was going to look in to it as they do not have any staff working at that time. With a club this size, one would think that there would be a system or a person standing by to open the gates in an emergency. We do have cell phones, why don't they use them as a back up system when lines are down. I know that
some company's have used cell phones as back ups on their alarm system when there phone lines are cut or broken.
------------------------------Second, another time.
We had friends visiting us from St. Petersburg and the same thing occurred, Hidden Eyes told them they could not open the gate and Hidden Eyes called me to tell me their was a problem with the gate and I had visitors waiting to get in. I went to the gate and my friends drove their car to the Publix, where they left it and we came in the back gate in my car.
Some times I wonder what is going on here at Countryside.--------Allan Ciccone
