It was nice to read in the blog that many other Countryside people are interested in the issue of walking fee's. I know that the GM reads this blog and has responded in writing and would encourage him to take this issue into consideration. It is my understanding that the master board in not fond of the blog but would like them to understand that all is not critical but an avenue of communication. Where do we go from here? Last year when this issue was brought to the master board's attention, it was delegated to the golf committee and it died there. I have been a resident of Countryside for 11 years, have followed all the rules, have paid all my fee's, have encouraged the board, have participated in events but this walking fee has been an issue that is quite upsetting. In no way did I ever question the walking bag fee and as stated prior, encrease it $5.00 per bag a year, do away with all the added book work in the club house and business office (understand it is computers) and do something positive for the people of Countryside that walk.
