--I sure do hope the fee situation gets straightened out sometime soon. Thought maybe someone from the Golf Committee, the Board, GM anyone might respond to the walking fee. Before you know it they will be putting in pay toilets in the Ladies and Men's room. What next? As for walking on the treadmill....I love it, do it everyday walk 3-4 miles. Not boring at all I listen to music on my IPod and read a book. Feel pretty good when I am done. Oh gosh I do hope they don't start charging a buck an hour on the gym equipment. Oh forgot you can only stay on them for half an hour so that will be cheap. Who knows they might put parking meters out in the parking lot around the club..bring your quarters. Likely to charge coming and going through the front and back gates. Oh retirement is wonderful isn't it! LIVE, LAUGH and be HAPPY. Do it quick or they might start charging a fee for having a good time. I like the idea of having a personal license fee for a seat in the lounge and dinning room. Hopefully that will mean we will get the same seat every time we go there.
------Sorry to hear that the some of the board members don't like the blog. I think it is very informative. It's a way to stay tuned into what is happening at Countryside when your not there. Great way to communicate for both the members and the board. It's not about GOOD vs EVIL it's about all of us living together in one community trying to make thing right for all of us. Sometimes difficult but it sure would be good to see some changes for the good of the community..... who by the way have made it very clear what they are looking for year after year through meetings and of course surveys.
-----Hopefully someday our leaders will understand....I for one don't want to do another survey it is useless and the same questions are asked every time. We all give the same answers every time. Let's hope things change after this last one we all did. If nothing changes then nothing changes. Same old, same old....hopefully not. Miracles do happen.-----Laureen Quinlan
