Do you really think people are going to agree with Larry publicly.That is the beauty of the blog, you don't have to worry about your neighbors who can't agree with a walk fee that makes no sense at a private club.
The webmaster states it only has to be legit, not personal or mean spirited so let the board know how you feel. My vote would be to take the fee away I never walk but know the fee is ridicules.
