Yup, this does make sense to me. It helps explain why there's a
deficit. There's only a limited number of people who can eat at
Countryside on any given night. If only 50% of those people
aren't there in the summer, that makes for less income. Then if
in season, only 50% of those people eat there only 1 night a week,
that makes more of a deficit. There are fixed costs to run the
dining room and bar regardless of if it's full or 1/2 empty.
------I'm not explaining this too well but it does make sense to me.
To cut costs, maybe they should close it down during off months.----Mj
