----First I'd like to thank Mike for responding to very various recent "blogs" regarding Countryside's F&B budgetary concerns. I found the response was very informative BUT it did not complete the picture for me. If we are a CIRA in Naples, Florida, I want to be compared to CIRA's in Naples Florida. I could care less about 501C's , Boca Rotan and all of Florida.
-----Second you talk about losses and minimums as if they are separable items. They are not and the complete analysis should include Prices, number of members, Plates sold for lunch and dinner. As is known A club could have large loss and no minimum or just the opposite. Low prices but good quality and high volume. or just the opposite. Talking about disjointed averages just doesn't work. One needs to establish a side by side comparison of CIRA clubs in Naples to really answer the questions once and for all.
---May I suggest that the comparison include Foxfire, Naples Heritage, Cedar Hammock and Royal Wood. I believe these clubs all have less members but 2 are open to the public. Others should be added as required.
---Thanks again for responding to blog concerns BnM
