We should be looking at the reason why the mfg. put in wooden arms in the first place.
CH --The residents well being not broken wooden arms are my concern. We can replace the wooden arms. I was one who broke an arm not paying attention. I was happy it was not metal.
Hope the metal arm works out. I have my doughts
