It is the General Manager’s job to manage, and that includes managing the dress code. Ultimately, that responsibility will be determined by me and should be as follows:
A dress code violation in the club house should be handled by a manager rather than a hostess, server or dishwasher. That manager should be Stacy or Debra or the GM. However, if neither are available, the responsibility will be upon the highest ranking service staff member or “captain”. In the golf department, a similar hierarchy shall be followed, with an assistant golf professional, Barb, TK or GM addressing the dress code violations. Again, there are times when none of the above are available. In that case, again, the senior attendant or employee shall have the authority to professionally and diplomatically address such violations.
Please keep in mind that I have not had an opportunity to initiate this procedure, as I was unaware of any such problem existing. So please be patient in allowing me to execute this standard.
I would like to think that in most cases, the violator is simply uneducated rather than executing willful misconduct. But this would be a mute point without violators!
Have a great weekend and good golfing to all. I look forward to seeing you at your club. Thanks to everyone for your warm welcome.
If we can be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Michael Bradfield
General Manager / Chief Operating Officer
