OK Bob, I will try to explain this so that it is understandable here goes.

When they built Countryside there were 750 golf memberships that went with the unit or home, they could not be sold. I have been told (and it makes sense ) that as a
marketing tool they decided to have 100 golf certificates which the owners could
sell at their choosing if they did not play golf or got older and could no longer play.
The selling point would be, 1. You could sell your golf certificate for whatever amount the market would bare. 2. You would not have to pay golfing members fee anymore ( at present around 1,400.00 dollars a year ) so you see why I said it makes sense why the builder's used this as a selling point.
Here is the brake down
750 permanent golf memberships Holmes, Veranda's,buildings 1-7 Country Manor,and
province Way.
100 Golf Certificates are social members with a golf certificate ( best position )
88 Country Hollow, 11 Country Manor building (8)
1 Country Glen
Hope this answer your question. They must sell only to social member at Countryside!
