Dear Counselor. Henning:

Would you be kind enough to look in to the matter of Countryside Golf & Country Club and let me know who owns this road. I have been told that Countryside did not do everything they were supposed to do when they installed the gates. From what I have been able to gather, the vote for the gates was 53% against and they went up any way and they never received any quick claim deeds from the home owners.

The Residents of Countryside petitioned then County Commissioners in the mid 90's to gate there community and make the Public road private. It's my understanding the Commissioners granted the request. As for who owns the road is a internal issue and not for County Government to interfere. May I suggest, a surveyor or a title company can answer your question.
