I find it hard to believe a man of Cliff Verdrebers stature would resign in
mid-season. Cliff was a class act he took all the members crap knowing full well
the board was making all the decisions. We have a micro managing board that will not allow the people we pay (handsomely) to do the job we pay them for.
Now we are going to fly another consultant in pay another fee for him to recommend
another GM to not let him do he's job. The board is the problem, when are they going
to be held accountable. They will not, because the members do nothing, the members complain all the time, bad mouth the board, the staff, just bitch all the time a
bunch of whiners. So when the board runs the club (Sunshine law Say's it is a conflict of interest and cannot do it) let's see if they lower the prices of the
bar and food ,operation hours.
I would be willing to bet Stacey is next on the list we had the best summer (according to blog ) staff has been terrific (good team ) food has been good,
social schedule has been full yet Cliff got axed (it is insulting to tell the members
he resigned)what does this say.
I have heard the rumors defaming Mr. Verderber stop this classlessness.
