I attended the Master Board Meeting today and was surprised to hear the Chairman of the golf committee make the following recommendation's to the Master Board.
(1) No cargo shorts (2) all shirts must be tucked in, except for woman unless the shirt is banded.
You would think before taking this kind of actions, notice would have been sent out to the entire community and this could have been done through Countryside News or a notice with our monthly bill and Countryside T/V. Director Festa mentioned that cargo shorts are allowed in the club and the chairman of the golf committee pointed out there are two different kinds of dress codes one for golfer's and one for the club. In my opinion, this is teetering on dangerous waters as there may be medical reason a person does not tuck their shirt in or may be wearing something like cargo shorts and enforcing this type of restriction might mean a member with medical problems would not be able to play golf and this could be a violation of law and Countryside could have a problem.
