I have been reading the countryside blogsite for 4 months. I am an owner and have been here since 1990.
I read Mr. Ciccone messages regularly. It almost seems that the blogsite is Mr Ciccone's personal bulletin board! Many of his comments are valid. He states in one message that "once a person is elected to the Master Board the director's responsibility is for the good of the whole community, not just the local association that elected that director". I agree with this observation. I do not know Mr. Ciccone other than through the blogsite and even if I agree with many of his observations I find his way of dealing with issues both arrogant and aggressive. Living in the Verandas I do not have a vote re the election of a director from the Countryside Homeowners Association but accepting his comments that the Directors represent the interests of all Countryside Owners I thought I would register my opinion that the community would probably be better served without Mr. Ciccone on the Master Board. We have existed successfully for 20 years (I have personally observed 18 of them during which time the place has improved considerably) without the apparent aggressive and confrontational approach that Mr. Ciccone seems to think is required.
