MADD:
I do not know how Countryside decided to post the speed limit, but 25 MPH is a reasonable speed. I suppose the request was from the safety committee along with the stop signs and it was approved by the Master Board and the signs were installed. As I said in my last communication, the gates would have to come down and the streets given back to the county in order for county enforcement and you know Countryside is not going to give our streets back to the county and they most likely would not want them back. I do not know how long you have lived in Countryside, but before the gates were installed, countryside Dr was like a main street as all kinds of vehicles were using our street to get to Radio Rd or Davis Blvd. I have only seen one minor accident since the gates were installed.
You seem to have concerns that you should bring before the safety committee, as for your statement about the club, I am not even going to go there as I have never seen Countryside employees breaking any rules or regulations.
This is the great thing about the BLOG, you can express your views and do not have to sign your name. If you remember SPEAK OUT that was run by the Master Board, you had to leave your name email address and telephone number and it would be posted if approved.
