I turned to Countryside Channel today and saw the announcement that a member could not have a surgery due to a blood shortage. I am surprised that after posting this on Countryside Channel that the administration did not try to have a blood drive and make arrangements for the mobile blood unit to visit Countryside. I have seen the mobile blood unit at other locations in Naples. It is a nice thing to donate blood, but it takes a lot of time and you have to go to the hospital to donate.
