I just received a letter from the General Manager and our Chairman of the Architectural Committee reporting DEFICENCIES on my mail box that was inspected on January 19, 2008. On one point, I agree it could use a coat of paint.
On item 7. you state my mail box needs a collar around the base of the post, in previous inspections why was this not mentioned?, is it now that you want to replace our mail boxes you are looking for anything you can to force home owners to purchase a mail box from a person that you selected, I think not.

Tom Kiddle, a member of the Architectural and our former General Manager Gary were out inspecting mail boxes and they spoke with my wife and told her we were not in compliance and needed a new mail box and said Countryside would replace it and the cost would be on my bill, my wife agreed and Countryside replaced my mailbox so it was in compliance.

Norm: a few months later you came by and left me a note that my mail box needed to be painted. I brought this to your attention and you said it must have been a mistake and to forget the letter. Every year after that, you found a DEFICIENCIE,
my mail box needed painting and even offered to paint it, which I denied your service.

HOME OWNERS: I am sure that this has occurred to some of you, where Countryside found our mail boxes needed to be replaced and replaced them and put the cost on our bill.

Now Countryside comes by and tells me I am not in compliance as I do not have a collar around the base of the post.

Cliff: Countryside installed this mailbox and it was Countryside's responsibility to
install it properly and according to Norm Johnson after three years it does not comply. This really makes me wonder why my question was not answered when I asked if the Master Board had a signed agreement from their contractor on the actual cost and distribution of monies.

Cliff I am sending this to you just in case you don't read the BLOG.
