Interesting results from the mailbox survey. An undated letter was sent by the General Manager on or about 6/30/07 describing the mailbox concern and replacement options. In part the letter says " This notice is being sent to only owners of single family homes and asking whether or not you are in favor of this. We ask that you look at the model on display if you are here or if not call your Association President, a friend or neighbor and get their input. A picture (not clear) of the proposed structure is enclosed as well as a response form." The kicker that I object to is the added statement "If we do not hear from you by August 15, 2007, we assume you approve and that will be considered a "YES" vote." I am suggesting that the response results: YES NO or NO ANSWER be published and reconsidered by the Board of Directors with comments from the single family home owners. Ward Shaw
