I have been in Countryside for 19 years and am glad we now have a public place for comments. I returned today from a 4 day visit to my condo and I have to say the golf course was in very good shape. The wall looks better than I would have expected and the color fits in very nicely.
I ate in the restaurant every evening and for lunch and believe the food was good, the portions very generous and the service, particularly by Maria, was well done.
We also ate out on Fifth ave and I can tell you that a Bloody Mary is $10 on 5th and nowhere near that in Countryside. We had fired plantains and they were $6 so the prices in the club are not bad.
I do wish that our community had more flowers as you entered, including Radio Road, and that the golf course should also have some flowers.
I took some time to visit other communities and flowers can sure make a place look and even feel more pleasing and welcoming.
One question--What happened to the oversized American flag outside our front entrance?
