This is a response to Carl Hicks. You are a frequent contributor to this blog and most of your postings make sense to me, but It is a fact that five of the current board members have been elected in the last four years. Plus, a sixth, served only one term so there have been six new members on the board who do not fit your description of the same people in office year after year. My feeling is that those who have been elected "year after year" have been elected because their constituents thought they were the best candidates available. What we need to happen is that good candidates need to step forward and offer to serve. The only complaints I have seen are that some Directors have served too long. If they are doing the job and the members who elected them keep voting for them, I say let them keep the lousy job.
