That’s funny!!
The sound barrier wall looks funny down at the Country Glen section. It looks like it’s about 11 feet tall. That’s funny because they said it was going to be 14 feet tall. Maybe because they put it in a 3 foot gully instead of putting it on a 3 foot berm.
The Collier County Land Development code required a special variance to build this wall to 14 feet, But it’s 3 feet below ground. Maybe they should have built a 20 foot wall and buried it 6 feet then we would have had a 14 foot wall. The Duratek pre-cast wall company never pulled a permit to construct the wall. That’s funny!! But it looks nice and provides good security and is a noise deterrent except for that funny section mentioned above.
