I have been reading this Blog for some time now and it bothers me that some elected board members can do anything they want. It has been mentioned that if we are unsatisfied with a board member we can recall that person, do we have to recall most of the board?

Mr. Ovington talked about filing a law suit, that might be one of the best ideas yet. If members got together and chipped in, I am sure there would be plenty of money to hire a good attorney and force the master board to abide by the rules of Countryside. In fact I think it would be very interesting to hear what they would say in a court of law.

I have heard talk that the board members are insured and I think they should be as they are doing this job for nothing. But thy should read the insurance policy as I do not believe that an insurance company will cover any person that intentionally does something wrong and if that were the case, the members involved would be personally libel for their actions. I would also like to point out that knowing the rules/articles and by laws are being violated in itself and doing nothing might make them personal libel also. The Master Board President should consult their attorney before this gets out of hand.

Mr. Flueckiger, you are doing a great service for members of Countryside and should be commended.

Please post if a law fund is going to be set up so members can donate to it.
