I attended the Forum yesterday and was very pleased by the show of interest by the members. I must say however, that I found the Board of Directors to be unprepared to give answers to the questions posed. When will the wall be done? Could someone have called the County and have gotten an estimated completion date? What's going on with the unmown lawns. Could someone have been ready with an answer?
What about the mailboxes? We sent a letter over the signature of our General Manager and nobody informed him but it doesn't matter because we've thought it over again and don't know what we're doing now about the mailboxes. Other matters are in the hands of attorneys but though we've asked for answers, we haven't gotten any. We took the word of the gardener that we didn't need a permit? Anyone living in Florida knows that you need a permit to do just about anything.

I felt that people were there to be informed and were not.

Just becoming acquainted with the blog would give the Board an idea about what residents are interested in and allow them to be prepared if there is another Forum.
