I agree with the several adverse comments regarding the special fee(s) regarding the walking golfers. Not appropriate or necessary!!! The budget for cart fees is about $539,000 and this covers the $55,000 annual cart lease with the balance going toward the Pro Shop/Cart Barn operating costs. The resulting Pro Shop budgeted profit goes overall toward offsetting a good portions of the expected dining room loss each year. Non of the small "walking fees" go toward the golf course maintenance as I understand it. It stays with the Pro Shop. This subject should be pursued with the Board at a regular Board Meeting!!
