I agree with Pat Campaign et. al. Marcia Feeney is now the president of the Countryside Master Association per the official Countryside ByLaws. This means that the club is not, I repeat not, now leaderless. Unless she refuses to serve in that capacity she has already automatically assumed her rightfully elected responsibilities.
Thus, there is no real urgency to have an immediate Masterboard meeting, though there needs to be one soon to:
1. Select a new Vice President, not President, since the position of President is now automatically being filled by Marcia.
2. Select or arrange for a special election to fill the board representative vacancy for Country Manor Condos, vacated by Rich. This person must be either resident/owner, or at least an owner, of a condo in Country Manor. Whoever is selected does not become the Master Board President, only a Director representing Country Manor on the board.
The special projects in which Rich was involved, the wall and the fountain, are already under way and should be completed as planned. These are now management, not board, responsibilities anyway, though the Masterboard might want to appoint someone, possibly an adhoc committee chairman, to follow up.
There is no need to panic.
