COUNTRYSIDE MASTER BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
OCTOBER 25, 2007
The Board of Directors removed Rich Kudelski as President (Countryside Bylaws, Article VIII, Section 5, Officers and Their Duties) and elected Marci Feeney
as President and Dick Fleming as Vice-President.
Dick Fleming reported that Jerry McCoy, the professional we have contracted with to conduct the survey will be here Monday afternoon, Oct. 29 and Tuesday, Oct. 30, to put together the survey. Committees were requested to submit questions to be included in the survey. The survey will be mailed in early November to each member and will be returned directly to Mr. McCoy for compilation. When completed, Mr. McCoy will share with the community the results of the survey at a town meeting.
The Safety Committee presented a revision of the parking rules for the Community.
After discussion it was returned to the Committee for further review.
Marcia Feeney reported on the office renovation which is nearly complete. The Board Put aside $70,000 for office renovation.
The Architectural Committee is continuing its study regarding a new standard for mail boxes and will be reporting at the next meeting. It was noted that any new standard would apply only when a mailbox needed replacement.
The Fountain is on its way and the permit has been applied for. (initially we were told by the supplier a permit was not needed.) The 444 bricks that were purchased are engraved and ready to be installed.
The Board approved signing a two year contract with Envira (formerly Hidden Eyes) to monitor the gate. The equipment has been updated including new cameras and lighting that will help with identifying tag numbers. Envira has committed to providing improved service.
The Future Projects Committee presented a proposal to complete the renovation of the Davis Road entrance by adding Ornamental Aluminum Rods with Spears on top of both sides of the bridge at a cost of $13,500. The Board did not approve the proposal.
It was noted that a Members Forum would be held each Monday afternoon prior to the Board meeting. An Agenda for the upcoming Board Meeting will be available at the Forum. The next Board meeting will be held on Thursday, November 29th.
