Why do so many people here feel that going outside of the “gates” is such a terrible thing? I know there are a good number of people from the other clubs that actually spent time outside of their “gates” playing other courses (look at the people that just come to Countryside to play us as a reciprocal) and going to dinner. Look how busy the restaurants get during season. I’m sure many of these people come from the other gated communities just like us. Are all of these other communities so bad that the people need to go elsewhere? No. Naples is a beautiful place. They are out exploring it, meeting others and enjoying themselves. There isn’t anything wrong with Countryside when I decide to spend my 10 dollars for beer and a burger elsewhere. Its nice to have choices. This is what our country is all about.
