The reason the golf maintenance fee is higher than the non-golfer is that those with golf priviledges must pay for the entire golfing operation in addition to the clubhouse expenses. The cart fees and the walking fees supplement the annual assessment. If these fees were not charged then it would be necessary to increase the annual assessment to all golfing members significantly no matter how much they use the course. The cart and golf fees are assessed to those that use the course facilities to help pay for the costs incurred.

The cost of the driving range has been included in the annual assessment for both golfers and non-golfers as it is available to both.
