I do hope when we return this year that things will run more smoothly. It seems we go through the winter months and everyone is unhappy with the restaurant. We fill out the comment cards and it falls on deaf ears. Well, after all the renters went home and we had the meeting at the club, people voiced there opinions about their unhappiness with the food, the service etc. We shouldn't have to leave Countryside to go to the Elks, Moose, or any other restaurant. OUR club should be open, the food should be good and a variety not the same menu month after month. There should be something going on at that club all the time to keep us there. We have not moved into an Assisted Living Facility or a Nursing Home. We are there to have a good time and enjoy ourselves, to use the club. I would like to bring my guest there without worrying about the food being good. I know they were trying some new things over the summer and I hope they worked out so they can work them into the fall, winter and spring so we can all enjoy the club. Like the President of the Board said we heard what you said now lets hope that the management truly heard what we all had to say because it was said loud and clear and by many of the people that showed up.

As for our new Director of Communications....what is the General Manager for?
How much is Mary Groesser being paid? In the newsletter it states "Mary looks forward to rejuvenating our overall community image." Just exactly what does that mean? Why isn't our General Manager doing that, isn't that part of his job. Communication that is what he should be doing communicating with us the community of Countryside. Hiring someone new is that going to fix the problems at Countryside? I doubt it.

I hope we don't have to go through yet another season leaving Countryside to go out to eat for the night and have a good time. I'd rather put that money into our own club.

From the looks of things this web site is going to get a lot of use. I hope that more people respond to that post card. Can you repeat the address as well as the name or names of the people we should make our check out to. Great Job.
