As a social member and President of Country Haven 2, I would venture to say that very few of our owners use the golf driving range. As social members we have no "Golf Equity" but yet this board, excluding Ms. Paratore voted to charge every owner in Countryside, including social members, $30.00 a year. Thats almost $8,000 a year from the Social members. Then they advertised "Free Driving Range Use" in their monthly Countryside magazine.I would think that now, the Social member also have to pay for the up keep of the "Golf" driving range. I think the fair way to run the Golf driving range would be to have the Golf members and reciprocals get to use the driving range for free ($30.00 for the Golf members yearly) and the few Social members that want to use the Golf driving range purchase tokens in the Golf pro shop.
This was voted on a year ago in the dead of summer at the June meeting when 70% of the owners were not in residence.I would like to have seen this action and other important items discussed when most of our owners are in residence.
